Woo Do Hwan is joining the star-studded cast of the upcoming Dinsey+ original K-drama Made in Korea. On February 13, various media outlets reported that Woo Do Hwan would be added to the cast of Made in Korea. According to reports, Woo Do Hwan got the offer to portray the role of Hyun Bin's character's younger brother. Woo Do Hwan's agency, Blitzway Studio, confirmed the reports. The agency revealed that the actor will be part of the cast, and the production team is currently in the preparation stages for filming. Made in Korea is set in the 1970s during a turbulent time. It tells the story of Baek Gi Tae, who is full of ambition for wealth and power, and Prosecutor Jang Gun Yeong, who will give up everything to stop Baek Gi Tae. The upcoming K-drama will be led by Hyun Bin, Jung Woo Sung, Won Ji An, Seo Eun Soo, Cho Yeo Jung, and Jung Sung Il. Made in Korea will be the first K-drama project of renowned director Woo Min Ho. He is known for creating the films Harbin, The Man Standing Next, The Drug King, Inside Men, and more. The upcoming K-drama will reportedly premiere this year. It will have a total of 6 episodes and will exclusively air on Disney+.
Made in Korea will be the third upcoming K-drama project of Woo Do Hwan. This will also be his debut on the global streaming platform Disney+. The actor will also return to Netflix's original series Bloodhounds Season 2 with Lee Sang Yi, Rain, and 2 PM's Hwang Chan Sung. Woo Do Hwan will also make a special cameo appearance in the upcoming Disney+ series Knock Off. He will play the role of Kim Soo Hyun's character's high school classmate.
